Civilian Arms Training Source exists to provide shooters of all backgrounds and ability levels with modern tactical firearms training to promote gun safety, teach new skills, and save lives.
We deliver quality training for civilians and law enforcement and offer a variety of classes at shooting ranges across Southern California and in Clark County, Nevada.

TIM GEORGE
Founder & Director
Tim has trained with Tactical Firearms Training Team and was fortunate to have studied under Sgt. Max Joseph & his Cadre of Marine Instructors. He later mastered all of his NRA disciplines and in 1992, created Civilian Arms Training Source. In the mid 2000s, he studied under Commander Paul Castle, the creator of Center Axis Relock. Tim has an undying commitment to his students and their God-given right to protect their life, liberty and pursuit of happiness.

CCW TRAINING
Looking to obtain a Concealed Carry Weapon (CCW) permit to protect yourself and your family? We can help with training classes for initial and renewal applicants. For existing permit holders, we also offer a special class on drawing and shooting from concealment.
PRIVATE TRAINING IS AVAILABLE
Private pistol, rifle and shotgun classes.
We offer private and customizable pistol, rifle, and shotgun classes for first-time gun owners/shooters and experienced shooters needing a refresher.
Private training sessions are conducted at the CATS Headquarters in La Palma, California. Gun rental included.
