CCW License - Renewal

Class Description

You will review and refresh the knowledge necessary to successfully complete the county CCW examination and obtain your Certificate of Training, as required by the Orange County Sheriff’s Department (OCSD) or participating agencies within Los Angeles County, including Gardena, Hermosa Beach, Los Angeles (LAPD only), Montebello, Redondo Beach, and Whittier. Please note: Completion of this course and successful passage of the examination does not guarantee permit renewal approval by OCSD, any Los Angeles County issuing agency, or the California Department of Justice (CA DOJ). In accordance with California law, this course requires a minimum of eight (8) hours of instruction. A textbook is included. We strongly recommend that all CCW holders maintain self-defense liability insurance. Ammunition Requirements: * Orange County (OCSD): 24 rounds per firearm * Los Angeles County agencies: 72 rounds for the first firearm, plus 20 rounds for each additional firearm Vouchers are not accepted for this course.
