Class Description

Push beyond the basics and step into advanced defensive handgun training with Tactical Pistol Level 2 — an immersive course designed for shooters ready to sharpen their speed, efficiency, decision-making, and tactical performance under pressure. Building upon the skills developed in Level 1, this course introduces more advanced firearm handling techniques, dynamic shooting drills, target transitions, movement-based exercises, and scenario-driven training designed to challenge both your technical skills and mindset. At Civilian Arms Training Source (CATS), our experienced instructors provide individualized coaching and real-time feedback to help students refine their mechanics, improve accuracy at speed, and develop greater confidence in defensive shooting situations. This course emphasizes consistency, accountability, and performance in a safe and professional training environment. Newly added to Tactical Pistol Level 2 is Shooting From Concealment for our CCW-licensed students. Students will work through practical concealed-carry draw techniques, garment clearing methods, efficient presentation from the holster, and strategies to safely reduce draw times while improving confidence and consistency under stress. Whether you carry daily, train regularly, or are preparing for more advanced tactical coursework, Tactical Pistol Level 2 is designed to elevate your skills and mindset to the next level. Required Equipment: • Reliable handgun/pistol • Minimum of 300–400 rounds of ammunition • Quality outside-the-waistband (OWB) holster designed specifically for your firearm • Sturdy belt capable of securely supporting your holster and equipment • Concealment garment for CCW students participating in concealed draw exercises • Eye and ear protection • Appropriate range attire Please note: Range fees are not included.
