Class Description

Take your handgun skills beyond the fundamentals with Tactical Pistol Level 1 — a dynamic, hands-on training course designed for developing shooters who are ready to build real-world confidence, speed, accuracy, and firearm handling skills. Led by the experienced instructors at Civilian Arms Training Source (CATS), this course blends proven marksmanship fundamentals with practical defensive shooting concepts in a safe, structured, and engaging environment. Students will refine critical shooting mechanics including stance, grip, sight alignment, trigger control, recoil management, and efficient firearm manipulation. This is not a static classroom course. Through guided drills, live-fire exercises, and performance-based scenarios, students will challenge themselves while learning to shoot with greater precision, consistency, and confidence under pressure. Whether your goal is personal protection, skill development, or preparing for more advanced tactical training, Tactical Pistol Level 1 provides the foundation needed to elevate your abilities to the next level. Required Equipment: • Reliable handgun/pistol • Minimum of 300 rounds of ammunition • Quality outside-the-waistband (OWB) holster designed specifically for your firearm • Sturdy belt capable of securely supporting your holster and equipment • Eye and ear protection • Appropriate range attire Please note: Range fees are not included.
